"Born in the USSR" Young (20's-30's) & Active Circle

If you were born in the former USSR, or have any cultural or emotional ties with Russia and its parts, this group is for you! We are a society of active, young (20's through mid- 30's), physically fit and adventurous people with healthy social and professional lives, and a desire to to go out, make new connections, have fun, and contribute to the social value of the group.

We're a private club, a clique that meets OFFLINE regularly. Our past activities included hiking/skiing trips, opera nights, clubbing, wine tastings, wall climbing & bowling nights, movies, comedy clubs, happy hours at classy bars, bicycle rides, picnics, museum outings, and much more.

Since mid-2007, we had over 80 events. Our team has grown strong, great relationships have formed, and the wrong ones got nipped in the bud. Many members have been continuously contributing to the group in some way, be it extra car seats for carpooling, places to gather, ideas on future fun events, information about cool places to visit in the city, professional expertise, or simply good mood and great conversation. We're very diverse.

Our members are 20-35 y/o and all fluent in Russian. If you are outside this range or simply want to learn the lanugage, please search meetup.com for a more appropriate group in your area.

Before requesting membership, please post your picture into your meetup profile so that members could recognize you at our events. Only profiles with photos will be approved.
